Swoon Thursday

Swoon Thursday is a weekly meme hosted by YA Bound @ http://yabound.blogspot.com.

Here's how it works. You take a book you're currently reading and share what made your toes curl and your heart race!!!

This week's treasure is from This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer L. Smith. It's been a really good book, but I still have about 50 pages left to read. Time has been in short supply this week. I expect to finish it tomorrow night and then I'll let you all know my thoughts.

But this is what we're all here for, so without further delay, my swoon...

"I'm sorry-" she began, but that was as far as she got, because Graham couldn't wait any longer. He leaned in, his lips meeting hers, which tasted faintly of peanut butter, and he closed his eyes, and he held her by the shoulders, and he kissed her.

It was exactly as he'd thought it would be, like the first time and the millionth time all at once, like being wide awake, like losing his balance. Only this time, it wasn't just him; this time, they were losing their balance together.

Enjoy!

  2. I defintely tend more towards the sweet, tender moments for my swoons. I am really enjoying the book, but I couldn't say if the story will have a happy ending or not. I really need to finish it, but it is a sweet story none the less. Should have a review up within the week. Depends on how much time I have to write this weekend.
So, look for it and check it out!

    1. I have been enjoying it so far. I just hope it ends satisfactorily for me. We'll see. Doesn't look like I'll finish tonight, though, but I will over the weekend.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Oh my gosh this is too funny. Not only do we pick the same book but the same exact swoon and we were both still in the middle of reading it ... I feel like I've stepped into the Twilight Zone :D

Thanks for stopping by my swoon haha :)

    1. This was a first for me. I've seen swoons from the same book, but not the same passage. Funny!!
I hope you enjoy the ending. I haven't gotten there still, so I don't know how it will end, but I hope I like the ending.

    1. I guess it is popular because it just came out and The Statustical Probablility got a ot of buzz, so there I think there was high hopes for this one. We'll see how it goes.
      I'm glad you stopped in!

    1. I'm sorry you didn't really enjoy it much. I have about 50 pages and wonder how it is all going to wrap up. I feel it is going to be bittersweet, but I am clinging to the hope that there will be a happy ending.

    1. Agreed! It is my favoritte post of the week and I really do love seeing what everyone else is swooning about. I've had to add more than one book to my TBR pile after reading a swoon.
