Swoon Thursday - September 12th

It's that time again ......

Swoon Thursday is a weekly meme hosted by YA Bound @ http://yabound.blogspot.com.

Here's how it works. You take a book you're currently reading or recently read and share what made your toes curl and your heart race!!!

This week's swoon is from Famous Last Words by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski. Only the names have been obscured to protect the readers from spoilers.

"I wish we had done this sooner."

"The band or the kiss?"

"Both."

"I was waiting for you to get real about XXXX."

"And I was waiting for you to define what XXXX was to you."

"I told you. She wasn't my girlfriend. Nor was she ever going to be."

"Why?"

"You walked into the newsroom."

Well, that turned me to mush.  How about you all out there?

    1. I wanted to leave it to the imagination. Ordinarily I might not, but in this instance, I think adding the names would have given away too much.
      Thanks for chatting!

    1. For my swoons, I do tend towards the sweet and romantic rather than the hot and heavy. Course, there's something to be said for that as well.
You can check out the review if you like. I posted it Saturday.
      Thanks for stopping in!

    1. I read her first book over the summer, How My Summer Went Up in Flames, which In reviewed a week or two ago. I really enjoyed it. Then I saw this book on the shelf in the bookstore and just had to get it.
As to where I find books, I spend a lot of time trawling through Amazon's listing and perusing the shelves at the local book store. Perhaps too much time.
I'm glad you stopped by to say hi!

    1. As I always say, I love Swoon Thursday. I didn't really post any over the summer. I was getting a lot of reading done and I wasn't as active on my blog as I would have liked. The humidity was a killer for me and I couldn't stand to be sitting at the computer.
I do love visiting everyone to see what their swooning over. I have found some really good reads that way.
      Thanks for visiting!

    1. Thanks for popping in!
I read through the book pretty quickly. I kept reading on to see what was going to happen next and it had a perfect ending.
It's a very sweet and romantic interlude. I'm glad you enjoyed!

    1. I just X'd out the names so as to not spoil which characters were talking.
You could guess, but I didn't want to just give it away. Where's the mystery in that?
