Stacking the Shelves

Nothing like spending a late summer day at the Renaissance Festival, but what a crowd! I haven't see it so crowded in probably about 15 years. I am exhausted and need to have a lie down, so let me get right to the meat of the matter.

We're all here to see what everybody else got in their mailboxes. Maybe something good? If it's a book, it can hardly be bad.

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

So here's my haul this week.

Books:
The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White

 Kindle:
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
The Hollow (Hollow Trilogy)by Jessica Verday - This one takes place in Sleepy Hollow

Manga:
Infernal Devices Vol 2
Strobe Edge Vol 6
Demon Love Spell Vol 4
Midnight Secretary Vol 1
Arata: The Legend Vol 15

I hope you all got something good!!!

  1. I've heard such great things about Eleanor & Park. I haven't read it yet, but I definitely want to.

And I love going to the Renaissance Faire. We used to go all the time growing up, and a few years ago finally dragged my husband to one. Hopefully I can convince him to go to our local faire this November.

    1. I haven't read Eleanor & Park yet either, but I've heard good things. I picked up Fangirl at BEA, so I was very excited about it.

The Renaissance Faire is always a lot of fun and I also used to go frequently every year. Now I go once or twice a season and miss it altogether some years, but it's still a lot of fun.
Hopefully you'll get to go this year.

  2. Chaos of The Stars was a very cute read indeed. Also really enjoyed The Raven Boys last year a lot. Come visit me as well.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Grace. I started reading the Raven Boys, but like so often, another shinier book caught my attention and I put it down. Never got back to it.
Now I have it on eBook, so I can take it with me everywhere I go.
I'm glad you liked Chaos of the Stars. I really liked the synopsis. I have to confess, though, while I have most of her books, I haven't finished one yet. I really need to change that.
