Triple Play Thursday or Say Yes to Which Dress?

I meant to be swooning today, but I haven't had much luck.  I started reading Love, Rosie by Cecilia Ahern, but have found that the entire book is not a laugh riot.  I'm about 10 chapters or so in and there is no swooning.

I started reading the introduction to Trigger Warnings by Neil Gaiman and while his writing does make me swoon, it is over the art of the writing and not because it is a romantic text.

So, I decided to give you all a triple dose of battling book covers.  That's right!  We're at Defcon 3! Triple Threat!  The Big Brawl!  Taco Tuesday.  No wait.  I mean Queso Wednesday.  No, that's not right.

Tonight's battle is a Sleeping Beauty smack down!  You'll see why.  It's.................

Shunned No More by Christina McKnight

VS

Chosen: The Seeker Saga  by Sarah Swan

 VS

Star of Deliverance by Mandy Madson Voisin

It's a beautiful dress, isn't it?  And we have it any color to suit your mood; blue, purple, white...

Seeing these covers just put me in mind of Sleeping Beauty's fairy godmothers who couldn't agree on a dress color.  Pink, blue, pink, blue, well you get the idea.

So, what mood are you in?

  1. I think I like the Star of Deliverance cover better. While purple is one of my favorite colors, that shade does little for me except make me look out for Easter eggs. Much prefer a darker purple.

    1. I think I'd pick Chosen. I like the stream of light that surrounds her. Oddly, I didn't realize before that the white dress has capped sleeves, so that was altered in photoshop I guess.

  2. At least they changed the color of the dresses, and flipped on of the pictures. That's something at least. I like the Chosen cover too because of the little fairy lights surrounding her, like she's Cinderella or something and the dress just magically appeared! Yeah, too much Disney growing up. ha!

    1. I think it's like a bait and switch. You might remember the image and not the book title and buy the wrong book on accident. Devious.
