Wednesday Wish List: Reawakened by Colleen Houck

While I don't normally do a wish list or waiting for type post, when I was looking for new up coming books at Christmas, I saw some titles that I just had to talk about!!

Reawakened by Colleen Houck is one of the books I am most anticipating in 2015. I picked up Tiger's Curse, mostly because the cover caught my eye and would not let me go. I loved the illustration of the white tiger and the Indian feel to the designs. After reading the summary, I was doubly hooked. I tore through the series. Well, to be honest, I haven't read book four yet, but I think it is because I knew there would be no more and that sometimes makes me sad.

It's been three years since the series ended and I had despaired of Ms. Houck ever writing a new book and lo and behold! There it was listed on the page, all glittery and shiny and new. And I must say, it is another stunning cover! I really can't wait to get my hands on this one. Only 7 months to go!

Book Description (From Amazon):
Publication Date: August 25, 2015
From COLLEEN HOUCK, New York Times bestselling author of the Tiger’s Curse series, comes the first book in a series about a teenage girl entangled in an epic Egyptian quest full of romance, adventure, and mythology!

When seventeen-year-old Lilliana Young enters the Metropolitan Museum of Art one morning during spring break, the last thing she expects to find is a live Egyptian prince with godlike powers, who has been reawakened after a thousand years of mummification.
And she really can’t imagine being chosen to aid him in an epic quest that will lead them across the globe.
But fate has taken hold of Lily, and she, along with her sun prince, Amon, must travel to the Valley of the Kings, raise his brothers, and stop an evil, shape-shifting god named Seth from taking over the world.
From New York Times bestselling author Colleen Houck comes an epic adventure about two star-crossed teens who must battle mythical forces and ancient curses on a journey with more twists and turns than the Nile itself.

What's on the horizon for you?

    1. I agree. Even if it weren't a Colleen Houck book, I would still want to buy the book. All her cover's have been beautiful.

    1. Well, for me, once I started the Tiger Curse series, I couldn't put it down. It made me very emotional because of the turn of events in every book. I still have to read book four, but I am partly nervous it won't end the way I want it to and partly reluctant because the series will be over. Luckily, she has this new series coming out. So, now I guess I can read the final book of the Tiger series.

    1. I hope you give it a try. Of course, I say that before I've even read the books, but I really did enjoy the other series. And I really do just love the cover! I'll by it for that reason alone!
